steelChallenge-16

The Regional Championship took place 24 November 2021. This year’s steelChallenge attracted 1480 participants representing more than 50 companies and about 90 academic institutions. For steelChallenge-16, participants used a combination of the Electric Arc Furnace and Secondary Steelmaking simulators. They were asked to refine steel to the proper chemistry and temperature, then cast it.
